Hi, Dithe! Please tell us about yourself and your daily role as Techbros’ Junior AI Engineer.

‍My name is Ditheosvi Alvira, and I started as a Junior AI Engineer at Techbros, supporting AI projects like face recognition, license plate recognition, and animal weight detection using Python. Now, I’m also involved in telecom projects as a Backoffice Engineer. My tasks include processing log files, working on reports, and handling drive test data using tools like TEMS Discovery and Tableau.

What’s your first role in Techbros? How did you know Techbros beforehand?  

‍My first role at Techbros was as an intern. I worked on AI projects like collecting data, labeling, making reports, and helping with problem solving.
I knew Techbros through my community, NETCO. Mr. Yoyok, one of the founders, shared the opportunity and recommended Techbros, so I applied while still in college and working on my final project.

When you came as an intern, did you imagine you’d pursue a career as an engineer? Why?  

I knew I might work as an engineer since I graduated in electrical engineering. But I didn’t expect to work in AI or as a Backoffice Engineer. Both were new to me, and I didn’t know much about the tools or programming. But the team was supportive and encouraged me to learn, and I had the chance to grow by working in AI and then as a Backoffice Engineer. This helped me gain new skills as an engineer ‍

How do you stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in tech relevant to your role in Techbros?  

There are tasks that encourage me to learn and explore new things. I also join courses or webinars, read articles, and learn a lot from my team because we share knowledge with each other.

If you could only choose one technology from Techbros to use for the rest of your life, what would it be?  

I would choose AI, or as we call it at Techbros, ElangAI, because it can make many tasks easier and help solve problems in various areas.

Why did you entrust your career from intern to your current position at Techbros?  

‍I trusted Techbros because they gave me the opportunity to learn and grow. The team was supportive, and the projects were interesting. Techbros provided me with the space to develop myself and helped me through the process.   

What do you envision in the future about your career in Techbros?  

‍I hope to grow with Techbros, learning and taking on bigger projects that align with my skills. I want my career to be stable and to contribute to meaningful projects as I gain more experience.
