Techbros Exploring 6G Use Cases in Logistics
Forging Global Partnerships: A Visit from ITPC Hamburg
DÜSSELDORF – In a bold step toward the future of logistics and telecommunications, Techbros visited the Chair of Material Handling and Warehousing (FLW) at Technical University (TU) Dortmund and the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) on Tuesday (28/01/25).
The visit aimed to explore logistics use cases powered by 6G technology, underscoring Techbros' interest in advancing telecommunications. This aligns with the company’s vision for the future.
By engaging with two of Germany's most prestigious institutions in logistics and supply chain innovation, Techbros is actively exploring how emerging technologies can revolutionize the industry. The visit aligns with the company’s long-term vision to push the boundaries of telecommunications in logistics, enhancing efficiency, automation, and digital transformation.
“With 6G technology on the horizon, there is an exciting opportunity to revolutionize logistics and supply chain management through advanced connectivity, AI-driven automation, and ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC).” said Techbros CEO Yudhi Rahadian.
Founded within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at TU Dortmund, FLW stands as one of the first dedicated logistics chairs in Germany. Since 2013, it has been headquartered at the LogisticsCampus, an interdisciplinary hub where experts from logistics, computer science, robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, statistics, education, and design collaborate to shape the future of logistics.

They have developed the ‘PhyNetLab’ featuring hundreds of ‘intelligent containers’ and smart devices like the ‘Coaster’ establishing it as the largest testbed for cyber-physical systems in logistics today.
Meanwhile, IML is a leading research institution in logistics and supply chain management, based in Dortmund, Germany. It operates under the Fraunhofer Society, one of Europe's largest applied research organizations.

Its key focus areas include innovative supply chain management, intelligent automation, cutting-edge robotics, and data-driven optimization. Through advanced research and industry collaboration, IML continues to shape the future of logistics and material flow, driving efficiency, sustainability, and technological innovation.
